 THE LEADERSHIP OF YOUTH ADVANCEMENT INITIATIVE (YAI) FELICITATE WITH FEMININE GENDER ACROSS THE WORLD ON THE OCCASION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY

Monday, 8th March, 2021.

The leadership of YAI ably headed by Amb. Ade Mario Emmanuel join millions of her counterparts today across  the globe, to  celebrate the entire women race.

It is worthy of note,   that according to a verified statistics shown in the year (2019) on encyclopedia, human race is said  to be *over 7.8 billion* world wide with more than two-third (2/3) population density to be that of women. 

Similarly and in every Country of the world, women are the backbone and pillars upon which a nation lean on.

 As such,  we need to acknowledge and appreciate women for  their contribution towards development of the world.

I wish to equally seize this opportunity to charge our women to be productive, advocators of girl child education, show proactive and resolute in fight against early marriage, be committed towards making difference, and to become agent of reliance and not liability.

Finally, I found it rewarding to end this  aphorism that "women are the catalyst and stimulants of progression; wherein No Woman, there would be No World".

As a former student Union president , I understand the quality of time invested in students unionism while battling with academics which is the primary aim of being in the university .To see a former Sug President attaining the position of a professor gladden my heart.

Engr Prof Olubanjo Olutola Obafemi

(fhrd fdee ,mistro mnse) served as a former student union president of futa between 1992 - 1993 with tremendous achievements, he was the one who introduced FUTA shuttle into system and a lot more.

It is wrong to assume that students who indulge in unionism are set of irresponsible ones. This has been proven wrong by students union leaders who are doing exceedingly great in their career.

We are glad that we have a lot of futa past Union President that are doing wonderfully well in their career and Prof Olubanjo O O is one of them.

On behalf of all Past student's Union president of FUTA, I want to congratulate you as you have attained the highest academic qualification and I pray that you shall continue to excel in all you do.
