Prominent APC chieftain and Deputy Campaign Director-General for Ondo Central, Barr. Olumuyiwa Sylvester Adu (popularly known as Cubana), has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on his landmark victory in last Saturday’s gubernatorial election. Adu described the victory as a reflection of the overwhelming confidence the people of Ondo State have in Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
Speaking in Akure through Adu Media Assembly, Barr. Adu Olumuyiwa commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) for making history by winning in all 18 local government areas of the state. He highlighted the record-breaking margin in Akure, emphasizing how the results underscore Aiyedatiwa’s acceptance across different demographics. “This is not just a victory for the APC but a resounding endorsement of progressive governance,” Adu said.
The APC chieftain also lauded the peaceful conduct of the election, describing it as a significant milestone for democracy in Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole. He praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its professionalism and transparency, while acknowledging the role of security agencies in maintaining law and order throughout the process.
Adu did not fail to recognize the critical role played by APC supporters in ensuring the party’s success. “Their unwavering dedication and belief in our shared vision for a greater Ondo State have once again borne fruit,” he stated, adding that their commitment was instrumental in achieving such a decisive victory.
Reflecting on the potential of the Aiyedatiwa administration, Adu expressed confidence that Ondo State is on the cusp of unprecedented progress. He highlighted the governor-elect’s track record and campaign promises, describing them as the foundation for a brighter and more prosperous future for the state.
“This victory is a stepping stone, not a conclusion,” Adu remarked. “With this mandate, His Excellency is positioned to elevate Ondo State to new heights, making it a beacon of good governance and development in Nigeria.”
Barr. Adu, who also runs the Adu Olumuyiwa Foundation, pledged his unflinching support to the incoming administration, emphasizing his commitment to working alongside the governor-elect in delivering the dividends of democracy.
